This is one of our more active family tours in Thailand, and suitable for children aged 7 and over. Starting in a high standard family-friendly 5-star hotel, we spend the first few days in Bangkok, visiting the Grand Palace, and doing a boat trip to the colourful Damnoen Saduak floating market.

 

An overnight sleeper train journey takes us south to Khao Sok National Park, where we spend an adventurous night staying in unique Treehouses in the forest canopy.  We enjoy several walks with a naturalist into the park, and spend two nights staying in simple raft-houses on the Raja Phraba lake. From the lake we have more walks into the park, as well as a canoe trip on the lake, and time to relax and enjoy swimming and tubing.

 

From Khao Sok we head to the beach at Krabi where we stay in a luxury beach resort for some added comfort after our previous more basic accommodation in the park. We include a boat trip to some of the most beautiful beaches, islands and coral reefs in the area

 

This tour can run immediately after our Discover Thailand, and Elephants and Rafts tours to make a longer holiday covering both northern and southern Thailand. We also offer extensions to Angkor Wat in Cambodia after you return to Bangkok.
