Southeast Asia has so much to offer any family wishing to take an active and adventurous holiday to an exotic destination ideally suited to children. There is a huge amount to keep even the most active children busy and plenty for mum and dad too. You can enjoy a jungle adventure featuring some easy trekking, elephant rides and bamboo rafting, or take time to explore the ancient ruins of Angkor, made famous by the Tomb Raider films, or crawl through the tunnel complexes used by the Viet Con during the Vietnam War. After the sightseeing and adventure, you can relax and unwind on one of the region’s numerous golden sandy beaches while the kids enjoy some exciting water sports or swim in the warm, blues seas that are so characteristic of Southeast Asia.

The region has developed some great child friendly hotels offering kids clubs, diving centres and much more, to suit a wide range of budgets.
