DIVING OPTIONS
We offer a range of options, which can be added onto most of our set tours. Descriptions and prices are detailed below. You can mark which options you would like to take in the ‘tour options’ section on your booking form. Our tours are designed to allow these options to fit in with the rest of the itinerary. Introductory and Refresher dives can be booked in conjunction with our diving courses. Refresher dives can also be booked with our 10-dive package.

Introductory dives take approximately two and a half hours and begin with some
basic training in the classroom. Then you are accompanied into 'confined water'
to practice basic skills (mask clearing, equalising and regulator recovery). Finally,
you go into 'open water' for a dive on the reef with an instructor by your side.
The instructor will control your buoyancy the whole time as you descend to a maximum
depth of 12m. Actual dive time underwater varies on an individual's air consumption
but on average lasts 30-40 minutes. You do need to be able to swim for an Introductory
Dive. All instruction, transport and equipment is included in the price. An Introductory
dive is the perfect way to discover whether scuba is for you without committing
yourself to the full course.
This option provides a shared arrival airport transfer from Bangkok international airport to your hotel. The service is available 24 hours a day.
This option provides a private departure airport transfer from your hotel to Bangkok international airport. The service is available 24 hours a day.
You need to have your own diving course manual, to take away with you after the course is completed (the dive schools are no longer able to keep and provide copies for use just during the course). This manual should be purchased from the dive centre at the start of your course. The price given is a guide and is subject to change by the dive centre.
This option allows you to add 2 extra pre-booked dives to your tour. All equipment, air and transport is included, and you can discuss with the dive centre exactly which dive sites you want to visit and when (this option is available for qualified divers only).
If you have not dived for over 6 months, then you must do a Refresher Dive before you can start the course. An instructor will go over your skills and knowledge with you, to ensure you are ready to dive again, with a buddy but without hands-on supervision. You can also take up this option if you just want to brush up on your skills before starting your diving. All equipment is included in the price.
