FLIGHTS
All of the tours offered by Uncover the World are sold either as ‘ground only’ arrangements, or packaged together with your international flights.
The prices shown on all the dates & prices tab of each tour page on this website do not include the price of your international flights. International flights can be added to your booking as an extra option at prices quoted by us at the time (an approximate guide is given in the Booking Information box on each tour page).
We run our tours this way to give you more flexibility in your choice of airline, flight times and overall travel dates, and as we welcome travellers from outside the UK, your departure airport.
We are happy to arrange your international flights ourselves, and will check availability and provide options & quotes on request. Travellers departing from outside the UK may well be able to obtain cheaper fares locally than from us here in the UK.
If you would like us to provide some suggested flights and quotes to fit your tour, please
contact us or make a note in our online tour reservation form. We will then provide quotes based on current availability and prices - we also charge a one off booking administration fee of UK£25(per booking, not per person).
You are not obliged to use the flights that we offer you and are welcome to search for other options if you wish.
All flights provided by Uncover the World are issued by a UK ATOL holder, and we will provide you with an ATOL receipt and confirmation invoice to show that these flights are protected accordingly.
If you are booking a tour at short notice, we recommend you check into flights first before confirming your booking with us.
Carbon offsets
Each time you take a flight CO2 is added into the atmosphere. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt. Greenhouse gases are a major contributor to climate change and Uncover the World Travel strongly supports carbon offsetting.
Offsetting means paying someone to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere on your behalf. In that way you can pay for the damage you are causing and the money helps to fund transition to a lower-carbon world.
We recommend that you use
Climate Care to offset the CO2 emissions created on you holiday with us.
Climate Care will use your money to offset your CO2 emissions by funding projects around the world. These involve:
-
Renewable energy – this replaces non-renewable fuel such as coal
-
Energy efficiency – this reduces the amount of fuel needed
-
Forest restoration – this absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere as the trees grow
So as well as taking steps to reduce your 'carbon footprint' you can offset what remains, helping to promote low-carbon technologies where they have the greatest impact.
Arrival in Thailand, Cambodia & Vietnam
After passing through immigration and
passport control there will be someone waiting to meet and greet you in the arrivals hall and transferred directly to your hotel. We run this
service 24 hours per day, and will provide full details and arrival
instructions when you book your tour.
We are nearly always able to make slight adjustments to your tour itinerary if required to fit the flights that you obtain.
If you are looking for a multi-stop or round the world flight that takes in Thailand, please check out our
Round the World Flights page.
